This paper aims that the good teachers in the Philippines ending their first employment are more likely to transfer to another teaching position. The research is based on a data providing information on the compensation and salary of Filipino teacher. The study uses comparative analysis to descriptive information through interview and survey. One respondent who is currently working in high school is conducted. This result of the research implies that teachers are not enough paid to get high-quality applicants. The current teacher salary and school cost structure and universal schooling are simply incompatible. The paper highlights some suitable options available to meet basic educational goals. The current salary level of teachers has to be brought down substantially if Philippine were to achieve educational goals and outcomes comparable to other countries that allocate similar, or even lower, share of budget to education. Since the study has a one participant and simple survey, there is only a slight implication on the research; for future research about the same topic, what the researchers could do is encourage more participants to engage in the study so that different perspectives of instructors from different work places can be analyzed too.
